Week #8 Chapter 7 Explore Indexing

The question comes to when we search on search engines is that how does the search engine recognize the website to appear in the results when searching the website. An example is Google recognizes the internet by keywords. The more closely descriptive keywords one uses the search engine will rank the website higher. One way to find the website is to use "site:" in front of your url that one is searching to see what pops up in Google search engine. Lets use this blog. The link I will be using is https://oliverugalde3.blogspot.com . The search engine will look for results. In front of this search for example will be "site:https://oliverugalde3.blogspot.com/ " and this will bring results with other similar content for this website. Below this blog I post an example of the search and what pops up for this search engine. This is a great way to find about pages one has forgotten about that were made.

Google provides a greta number of tools to use. There are tools to help ones search for the search engine. The search engine can be used to filter out and narrow ones results. It varies alot depending on what keywords or phrases one searches on the search engine. One great tool to search for on Google is the "Google Search Console" that is used to have the ability to add properties on Google. One can use this tool by signing up for a Google account and email and going through all the steps to singn up for an account. One has to verify the property of the domain through Google that is ones property to make changes. Google provides alot of help with their Search Console Help Center if one runs into problems. It is a great way to manage analytics through the tool. One can find most common keywords or phrases of the website by rankings. I find this tool useful for people to use when growing a company.
