Week #2 SEO book Chapter 1

         Search engine optimization is an important type of job people are looking for on LinkedIn. I did a search on LinkedIn in the United States that came up about 22k results came up. In the past week only 6.2k results popped up for active job hires results came up. That is almost 30% of results that popped up in the last week overall results in the United States. In Illinois there are about 1.2k results for a job as a search engine optimization. In the past week there were 307 results posted for a job in search engine optimization in Illinois. That is still impressive since Search engine optimization is pretty narrow job in digital marketing. Digital marketing is skilled to be a #4 in LinkedIn top learning for skills for jobs.

 

        Digital marketing has been becoming a larger career for people in the job market. Since technology is getting more advanced and Iphones are everywhere to make life's easier. people rely on the internet to search everything up. People rely on websites and information on the internet to view products and services. As time moves forward I think Marketing will be one of the top careers out in the career market.

The book I am about to introduce is about a professor I am currently taking his course that introduced me to is called  Surfing the Tsunami: An Introduction to Artificial Intelligence  by Todd Kelsey. Week #10 Google Analytics

           Google Analytics is an awesoem tool to use to grow ones website. This tool tracks everything one can imagine. This tool will tell one where viewers are coming from and what they are clicking to get to ones website. This tool is the master cheat code for a business. This tool is free and easy to use. One just has to have knowledge on how to read and analyze graphs. I am going to link this blog to Google Analytics account and track and see what information I can collect. Next week I will post results in my next blog. Google Analytics is a tool major company’s use to figure out where customers are coming from on the internet. Are customers coming from ads or search engines or are they just typing the url address on the address bar. I am tracking my blog through Google Analytics.              Analytics in Marketing is important do to one is monitoring or the program itself is giving one the trends or changes. This can be used to create viewers to help reach a higher value of customers to bring in people for products or services. Products and Services are advertised everywhere on the internet. This is important since one is trying to bring the most audience to ones page. Analytics brings information to make one investigate where they are coming from in the world or how long they are spending on a webpage. One can track from where they are coming from the site if they are just entering the url on the address bar or they are simply clicking an ad or even using a search engine.
